Name: Fleur Isabelle Weasley nee Delacour

Former House/blood status: Attended Beauxbaton Académie de Magie, Pureblood (1/4 veela, as such viewed as ‘part human’ by some).
Political views: Fleur was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and finds those on the opposing side detestable for what they have done to those she loves. She is fully behind Minister Kingsley.
Occupation: Formerly worked at Gringott’s Wizarding bank (in an attempt to see more of England…and perhaps to catch the eye of a certain redhead…) Now works PR for the Ministry of magic, using her charming sense of diplomacy, (and much improved manners) to further relations between the Ministry and the public.
Sexuality: Straight and has eyes only for Bill.
Character personality:
Fleur is a very strong and independent woman. While not above using her charms, she endeavors to be seen as more then a pretty face, pushing herself academically and physically. She has potential to act somewhat spoiled, or haughty, particularly more so when she was younger, do to her upbringing, but this has dulled significantly as she’s grown and experienced more of the world. She is fiercely stubborn, and tends to speak without thinking. Her words tend to come off more condescending then she often means for them too.
Character history:
Fleur studied hard in school, used to the best, an expecting nothing less from herself. In her final year she made it into the Tri-Wizard-Tournament, something which shaped her life far more then she’d ever imagined at the time.

Harry and his friends helped to get her (just slightly) out of her privileged lifestyle, though she still had a long way to go. The brave young teenager inspired her greatly, and she felt she owed him so much for his rescuing her sister. She thanks Merlin every day that she didn’t reach the cup, though part of her holds great guilt for these thoughts. Cedric was a great inspiration to her, and she was horrified by his death.

It was then however then that she first met Bill, something she is eternally grateful for. Upon graduating she applied for a position with Gringotts, sly, clever thing that she is, and Bill was assigned the task of helping her improve her English.

The two were living together by the next year, and married a year after that. While living in the Burrow Fleur faced much opposition from the Weasleys, but earned their acceptance after Bill was attacked…well, from most of them at least *glances pointedly at Ginny*.

The pair bought their first home, a lovely cottage by the sea. It was a welcome escape from the darkness that was growing around them. The both of them were actively involve in the Order, taking part in missions and opening up their home as safe haven for all who needed. It was in these dark times that Fleur grew the most as a person, learning to appreciate the smaller things, and set aside her judgmental tendencies.

What has your character been doing in the two years since the end of Deathly Hallows?
In order to fund his wishes to open an orphanage Bill returned to working in Egypt, followed by Fleur. Finding she didn’t really hold any love for banking she resigned (already having gotten the best thing possible out it, her darling Bill). She worked odd jobs (having enough money set aside from trust funds to explore many options without worry), even helping Bill on the odd occasion. In addition she has done much research into what Bill will need to open his orphanage, looking into the finances and paperwork.

Her friendship with Kingsley, and new interest in politics led her to seek employment within the Ministry, acting for a short time as an ambassador before finding her place in PR, able to smooth over the public’s unease with a simple grace and eloquent way of speaking.

How does your character view the events of Deathly Hallows?
The events of Death Hallows horrified and strengthened Fleur’s resolve, making her a stronger, kinder person. She firmly believes in the fight against Lord Voldemort, and was positive the light would overcome.
